Row of Purls

I remember when David was about 5 1/2yrs and I was 5 yrs, we stayed with Auntie Enid and Uncle Stan for about 6 wks. They were kind enough to put us up whilst our new house was being completed in Llandaff.
Auntie Enid taught us both how to knit, and to this day I still enjoy knitting as a pastime. I wonder if David can remember this, and could he still knit a row of plain and purl stitching?
I also remember happy times playing in the garden in Wenallt Road.
