I have been racking my brain somewhat to recall any outrageous or amusing incidents, to no avail! I don't recall if he joined us at Ninian Park back in the sixties,wearing our school caps to get in for children's rates? I remember Brian (Bash) was still doing this in his 20s!

He will probably recall the Subbuteo league, he was manager of Stanwell Stoics. I was Redlands Rapides, Brian Ivy Academicals. The rest I have long frogotten, Willie Waugh was St Cyres something and Dave Bray Cornerswell something. John Breeze was Lavernock something. No doubt you will recall those?

Any way I trust David has a great birthday, the only difference between ones sixties and 70s, is that you have more aches and pains, but at least you forget where they were!
