Corned Beef and Cider

David and I were friends in Penarth County Grammer School in the fifties. Within our group, three of us had birthdays in the first week of September, myself on the 1st, David on the 5th, and Brian Brooke on the 7th. Unfortunately Brian didn't make it to 70.
We also went on Church youth club hikes and camping weekends where we consumed huge quantities of corned beef hash and cider, but the less said about that the better.
Happy birthday David. Having just experienced my 70th yesterday, I am sorry to say there do not seem to be many benefits, you just feel older.
